Who is eligible?
Eligibility Requirements:
You are enrolled in a designated educational institution (DLI).
Prove that you have sufficient funds to pay tuition, living expenses, transportation, etc. for yourself and your family members who are accompanying you to Canada.
You adhere to Canadian legislation, possess no criminal history, and will obtain a police clearance certificate if required.
You are currently in good health, and you will undergo a medical check-up if needed.
Prove to an immigration official that you intend to depart Canada immediately once your study permit expires.
Responsibilities while studying in Canada:
Advance in finishing your training program.
Abide by the stipulations outlined in your study permit.
If you become ineligible, you will depart from Canada or upon the expiration of your permit.
In certain situations, a study permit may not be required to pursue studies in Canada if the program or course lasts less than six months, and you can complete it during your stay in Canada while maintaining valid status.
